No.4 PAINTINGS
'Growth & Decay' an exhibition of paintings/drawings by Brian Bushell (UK) and Chumbeni Kikon (India). Brian explores decay, collecting specimens of dead animals which are immortalized through his paintings. Chumbeni explores the organic forms and flow of the natural and microbial world, believing everything can coexist through growth and decay.

Mr Klive will be making a welcome return to NAT with one or more performances of spoken word and, sometimes, music. His work takes sidelong glances at the familiar, contemporary life and politics; featuring tortoises, washing machines, music boxes, goats and the dispossessed. The Green Nunhead
No.9 MIXED MEDIA
The Green is Nunhead’s community centre. Our aim is to create a lively, flexible space that is available to all members of our community. We want the centre to be known by all, used by most and frequented by many.
The art that will be displayed here, are all local residents with a range of skills. Mixed media of screen printing, digital prints, fabulous cards, oil and acrylic works on paper and canvas.

David Wightman creates beautiful paintings and prints of fictional landscapes. The surfaces of his paintings are made from textured wallpaper collaged with a technique similar to marquetry. Colour, texture, and composition are the key aspects of his work. He gained an MA in Painting from the Royal College of Art, London.

Project Octagon
No.13 SCULPTURE, PERFORMING ARTS, POETRY
Within the walls of the Gothic Revival Anglican Chapel at Nunhead Cemetery, where history, communities and nature converge, curators Urte Janus and Yarda Krampol offer artists an opportunity to push their practice beyond conventional boundaries, challenge conformity and explore the margins of rhetoric in the public realm.
The Friends of Nunhead Cemetery (FONC) and Southwark Council provides this nonconventional exhibition space for the project, aiming to foster the value of a connected creative community, shared experiences, knowledge, and support. Project Octagon will celebrate the cemetery's rich heritage and unique ecology and engage in creative exploration of the natural elements, trading white gallery walls for blue skies and open terrains.

Joanna studied at Central Saint Martins. Process-led and evolved through sensitive application of colour and gestural mark-making, her work is simultaneously calm and energetic. Her practice focuses on the creation of the work and not the outcome: experimentation and play remain at its heart, and each layer contributes to an abstract conversation.

Landscape painting in oil and watercolour - Paths, nocturnes, mountains and glaciers of the alps are part of a broader theme of the artist seeking out the sublime in nature. Walking along a path, a way, or crossing water lead one to the views the artist paints.
Watercolour sketches are painted on the spot and used as reference later on for the oil paintings.
Landscape painting in oil and watercolour - Paths, nocturnes, mountains and glaciers of the alps are part of a broader theme of the artist seeking out the sublime in nature. Walking along a path, a way, or crossing water lead one to the views the artist paints.
